Chiropractic Services

  • General wellness care typically includes treatment for joint aches and pains, minor injury, muscle tension, and headaches. Treatment focuses on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and relieving tension.

  • Chronic or persistent pain typically refers to pain that has been present for longer than 3-6 months. Treatment focuses on whole-body health, functional movement therapy, and pain management.

  • Hypermobility occurs when an individual’s joints move more than what is considered normal. As a result, hypermobile people can experience injury, pain, and fatigue more frequently than the general population. Treatment involves gentle manual therapy to reduce muscle tension, and targeted exercises aimed to stabilize affected joints.

  • This includes any condition that results in neurological symptoms such as radiating pain, numbness, tingling, weakness or changes in balance. Treatment focuses on symptom management and neuromuscular retraining.

  • Paediatric care includes gentle manual therapy for children age 0-16. Treatment focuses on improving joint movement, reducing muscle tension, and promoting overall wellness.

  • Chiropractic care to promote healthy aging involves functional movement assessment, improving balance and mobility, and promoting long-term function.

Initial Assessment

(60 min)

Your initial appointment begins with a comprehensive discussion of your health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. This is followed by a thorough physical examination, which may include orthopaedic and neurological testing as well as a functional movement assessment.

You will receive a detailed report of findings, including a clear diagnosis, before any treatment options are discussed. To support your recovery, you will also be provided with personalized exercises to continue at home, helping to reduce symptoms and promote long-term improvement.

Follow-Up Session

(20 min)

Follow-up appointments are designed to monitor your progress and support your continued recovery. Each session begins with a brief review of your current symptoms and any changes since your last visit.

Treatment will then focus on hands-on care tailored to your needs, addressing areas of concern and building on previous progress. Time is also set aside to review and adjust your care plan as needed, ensuring your exercises and strategies remain effective and aligned with your goals.

Extended Follow-Up Session

(30 min)

This 30-minute follow-up session allows for more focused, in-depth care, or assessment of a new injury. Each visit begins with a brief review of your symptoms and progress since your last appointment.

The extended appointment time provides greater opportunity for targeted, hands-on treatment, with additional time dedicated to exercise therapy when appropriate. This may include guided rehabilitation exercises, movement retraining, or progression of your current program. Your home care plan can also be reviewed and adjusted as needed to ensure it continues to support your recovery and long-term results.
